250,000 Received A/H1N1 Vaccines in Changsha

A total of 252,610 people in Changsha received A/H1N1 vaccines by Jan. 11th. The best period to receive the vaccine is during the winter-spring transition and people of the high risk groups are encouraged to get the vaccination. During the week from Jan. 4th to 10th, Hunan confirmed 73 cases with eight receiving medical treatment in hospitals and two deaths. The severity of A/H1N1 seems to be on the decline – the A/H1N1 cases take up 54% in the number of flu patients while that of the previous week was 70.12%.
