Registration for the Guangzhou marathon is now open, until September 20. The marathon will take place on November 23, and participants can choose to run either a full, half or mini marathon (5 km). Minimum age restrictions are 20 for the full marathon, 18 for the half marathon and 15 for the mini.
To apply, you either need to show proof of a previous full or half marathon score, or take a running test at the Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center Stadium on October 25.
The registration fees for foreigners are 30 USD for the half and 50 USD for the full marathon.
