The 2012 Wuxi 100-Year Meiyuan Lantern Festival (2012无锡百年梅园百龙灯会) will be held in the Meiyuan Gardens from September 20 to October 20. This year's festival will be dragon-themed and specially designed to complement the park's famous plum flowers. Lanterns will be arranged in more than 30 different groups, shaped into different colored "dragons," with the longest dragon stretching more than 200 m long, and the largest more than 12 m tall.
Getting there: Take bus No. 2, 40, 52, 53, 72, 83, 87, 88, 89, 106, 131, 158, 310, 766, or 快3 to Meiyuan (梅园站)
