The 2012 China Nanjing International Plum Blossom Festival is now open on Meihua Mountain in the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum (Zhongshanling) Scenic Area until March 11th. However, if you are interested in going, you may want to hold off for a few days – experts are saying that because this year's winter weather has been colder than normal, not many plum blossoms have come into bloom yet, and it is recommended to visit during the beginning of March.
