The 2012 Changjiang Strawberry Music Festival will be held at Zhenjiang’s Shiye Zhoulu Island (镇江世业洲鹭岛) from October 1-3. A host of superstars from the pantheon of Chinese rock will be in attendance, including Cui Jian, New Pants, Sodagreen, and Second Hand Rose.

Getting there: Take the G7139, G7141, G7143 or G7385 train from Nanjing to Zhenjiang (trains depart between 12:40-13:30). In Zhenjiang, buses for the festival grounds leave continually from the north square of the train station and Jiangsu University, 5 RMB per person. In the evening after the shows, buses will be waiting at the festival parking lot, guaranteeing everyone a ride back to the city.
