The 2011 Thousand Islets Lake Music Festival will be held at Xiushuijie Plaza on April 29th and 30th. Many famous singers and bands from home and abroad, including Shin, Lao Lang, Ye Shirong, Theo Croker and Rambling Scar, will be rocking out on stage during the event.
Getting there:
Self-drive: drive along 320 National Expressway, turn to 05 provincial highway at Songxi, Fuyang, and arrive at Qiandaohu Town after passing Tonglu Fenshui. The whole trip of 140 km only takes 90 minutes.
By bus: take shuttles buses from Hangzhou West Bus Station (357 Tianmushan Road) to Qiandaohu Lake. The bus sets off every 30 minutes from 6:00 to 18:50. The whole trip takes 2 hours and 15 minutes
Bus Fare: 57 RMB.
