On August 27th, Dalian Changshan Islands International Fishing Festival officially kicked off. The festival is co-organised by Dalian City Government, Dalian Municipal Bureau of Tourism, and Changshan Islands Tourism Management Committee.
Changshan Islands, the northernmost island county in China, is located in the northern area of Bohai Sea. From January to July this year, over 600,000 visitors came to the beautiful island and brought a profit of more than 400 million RMB. According to reports, during the 1-month festival, visitors can take part in fishing competitions and participate in many interesting events, such as the "2nd Changshan Islands Sea Cucumber (Trepang) Harvest Festival".
