According to the Hangzhou Tourism Committee, Hangzhou welcomed 14.9 million tourists during the seven-day National Holiday in October, which is a 15.9% increase from last year, producing revenue of 6.32 billion RMB, a 19.6% increase. West Lake Scenic Area Attractions received 3.85 million tourists, Xixi National Wetland Park (West Section) received 177,500 tourists, Xixi National Wetland Park (East Section) received 86,000 tourists and Leifeng Pagoda Scenic Spot received 176,300 tourists. In addition, statistics showed that Hangzhou Public Bicycle Rental Points rented out 1.5 million bikes, and the Tourist Information Centre received 59,423 consultations and distributed 14,896 promotional materials.
