After a month long investigation conducted with the Cambodian police, 11 suspects from the mainland who were connected with Shanghai’s largest telecoms fraud case were transferred to Shanghai by police on Thursday.

The case was opened after a New Pudong area resident, Mr. Lu, reported to Police that he had been cheated out of 20 million RMB in the telecom fraud.

A total of 21 suspects were arrested in Phnom Penh, but the other 10 are Taiwanese citizens and have been transferred to Taipei.
