The 10th Urumqi Silk Road Ice and Snow Festival will be held from January 10 until March 30. The event features lots of activities such as skiing, ice sculpturing and various snow-related sports. During the beginning of the festival, major parks and squares throughout Urumqi will exhibit meticulously crafted ice sculptures and other snowy creations.
