Update: Raz-B Coma Story Turns Out to be False
Aug 21, 2013 By eChinacities.com

Last week, US celebrity news site TMZ.com broke the story that Hip-Hop artist Raz-B was on life support in a hospital in China after he was hit in the face with a bottle. Of course, media all over were quick to spread the story. But the latest report claim that the story is not accurate at all and that Raz-B is in fact alive and well (except for a cut on his lip).

A Chinese journalist recently went to verify the story and found that the real background story was quite different from TMZ’s account. According to the journalist, Raz-B got into a fight in a club in Yiwu on Chinese Valentine’s Day (Aug 13) after a woman surnamed Chen couldn’t find the phone she had left on a table after a trip back from the bathroom. The woman reportedly frantically searched for the phone and in the process spilled alcohol from the table on to the floor and on to other people. Witnessing the scene, Raz-B went over to the woman and said, “Hi girl, calm down.” He also took a glass of alcohol off her after seeing that she was holding it in a “dangerous way”. But because they didn’t have a mutual language, the woman misunderstood his intentions and threw a glass of water into Raz-B’s face. Raz-B then threw alcohol back at her. A man accompanying Ms. Chen then took an ashtray and hit Raz-B’s face with it, causing a cut on his lip.

In order to protect him, Raz-B’s agent Ms. Wu, then urged him to leave the club. He then went to the hospital and got three stitches for his lip. He did not, as TMZ reported, then slip into a coma a day later. In fact, Raz-B is alive and well and even performed in Yiwu on August 19.

The story doesn’t end there. Ms. Chen actually apologized to Raz-B and gave him 3,400 RMB for medical fees. Following the incident, Raz-B posted a message on WeChat saying, “I’m feeling much better. Thanks to the great Chinese doctors who stitched me up.”

And they all lived happily ever after…

It's a pity Mao Zedong did not teach good manners to people around here before he died.Maybe he does not have good manners too.Otherwise, why would a person throw a glass of water at a stranger?Even they did not understand each other's language, good manners and discipline comes to play at that point.Only most people here lack good manners!

there are no work permits shorter than six months, and foreign performers must apply with the ministry of culture in a process taking up to eight months. his very appearance was likely illegal, just like madonna, bieber and gaga in russia - netting millions in 2 weeks on a tourist visa.
