After many rounds of drinking, two men started to fight and wrestle with each other in Harbin. Among them, one stripped down to just his underwear. When called to the scene, police tried to urge calm between the two men.

On the afternoon of September 25 at approximately 15:00, auxiliary police officers Xin Xuan and Wang Yangqu were on duty at Chengde Road near Keyun Station Plaza. Suddenly, they happened upon two men excitedly fighting and arguing with each other, an act that drew a large crowd of bystanders. Of these two fighting men, one of them was stripped down to his underwear and was not a pleasant sight to behold. Police separated the two combatants.

After questioning it was discovered that the two men, named Zhang and Li, were earlier working together that day. The two men had known each other for five years and were on friendly terms with each other. Today marked the last day in which Zhang would be working before heading back home to his village, and so the two men decided to have a last drink together at an establishment near the Keyun Station Plaza. While drinking, Zhang discovered that Li was wearing the clothes that he had given to him, and requested that they be taken off and returned. Empowered with liquid bravery, Li took off all his clothes save his underpants. Zhang stated that the honor of paying for the bill was his as Li needed his money to purchase a train ticket back to his home. Li refused, and the two men came to blows.

After police mediation, the two sides agreed not to follow up the incident on charges. Police then escorted Zhang to his travel arrangement and sent him on his way.
