A restaurant in Zhejiang Province has come under fire after offering discounts for women depending on their breast size.
Trendy Shrimp restaurant (yep, it’s actual name) in a Hangzhou mall was offering 5% discounts to women with A cup boobs and up to 65% for women with G Cup boobs, according to the Qianjiang Evening Post.
The discounts were advertised on a poster outside the restaurant which showed a lineup of underwear-clad, Manga-style cartoon women with varying breast sizes.
Some nerd had clearly spent a long time on research.
The poster, which appeared on Aug. 1, has since been removed after Hangzhou residents complained that it was vulgar and discriminatory towards women.
However, Lan Shenggang, general manager of Trendy Shrimp, defended the campaign.
"Once the promotion started, customer numbers rose by about 20%," he said, adding that "some of the girls we met were very proud - they had nothing to hide".
He also confirmed that customers could ask for their discount from female staff to “avoid embarrassment”.
What a boob!
