Chongqing University's Student Sports Association recently launched a campaign which pays participating students to lose weight. From today until June 15, participants who lose weight will earn cash rewards.

Students who lose the most weight can win prizes including a tablet and a mini fridge. Participants who lose 5 jin or less (about 2.5 kg), will earn 10 Yuan per jin. Those who lose 5 to 10 jin (2.5 to 5 kg) will earn 20 Yuan per jin lost and those who lose more than 10 jin will earn 40 Yuan per jin.

The students were weighed yesterday during registration. A month later, the students will be weighed again. During this month, organizers will host sports activities and other exercise groups, and sponsor weight loss QQ groups. The Student Sports Association will also host a morning run after which breakfast and milk will be served for 5 Yuan.
