One factory in Chongqing has taken urban farming to a new level, by creating a 10,000-square-meter farm on its roof.
Leaders from the door-managing manufacturing factory, decided to install the farm to make use of the huge space.
Workers from the factory grow crops and raise livestock and poultry on the roof, which has been waterproofed to avoid leakage. When the food is ready, they can harvest it and take it home.
There’s even a tractor up there.
