When the NBA teams pick out their batch of babes for their cheerleading squad, many stick with the criterion that promotional work and talent comes first and foremost, and then beauty. 3. Hectic Schedules and Dismal Pay
NBA cheerleading and dancing is only part-time work and the cheerleaders make, on average, about 50 to 150 dollars per game. With 41 games in every season season, it is unlikely that they are able to support themselves from this career alone. Between dancing at games and rehearsals, cheerleaders for the NBA have to maneuver another part-time job or two in order to make ends meet.
