George’sView In Map
George’s is the highly anticipated new cocktail bar by former Q Bar mixologist George Zhou. Located on the east side of the Worker’s Stadium close to the heartland of Beijing’s bar district, George’s has thus far been warmly received by an overwhelmingly positive mix of reviews. The major attraction of George’s is without doubt the cocktails. Excellently mixed and served by a friendly team of staff, the bar looks set to become a competitive contender in Beijing’s expanding cocktail bar scene. The bar’s interior is chic, with black walls, dim lighting and long tables which lend it a more social atmosphere. Basic mixed drinks start from 30 RMB and cocktails are in the 40-50 RMB price range. Beers are also available with Tsingtao bottles starting at 15 RMB.

The newest bar by the people behind Coco Banana, Coco Park is another contender vying for a respected spot in the cocktail bar scene. With large glass pane walls that leave in plenty of natural light and a cosy outdoor patio, Coco Park is a great hang-out spot in the summer months. Cocktails are generally well mixed but are very much on the expensive side though (68 RMB). Whiskey connoisseurs will be happy to know that the bar contains an impressive stock of whiskeys however – 60 brands in total.
