2) Thai: Urban Thai (妈咪泰料)View In Map

This authentic, small, Thai restaurant is great for all occasions. Launched in 2011 by a mother and daughter, they serve a wide variety of vegetarian, spicy, and non-spicy food. Their menu boasts the classics ranging from satay, papaya salad and spring rolls to pad thai, and also has set lunches for 58 RMB (one dish and a drink), 68 RMB (a starter or soup, dish and a drink) or 88 RMB (a starter, soup, dish and a drink). They deliver too if you prefer that option, perfect for a rainy night in. Check their website for the areas that they deliver to. 3) Vietnamese: Mekong River (湄公河越南餐厅)View In Map

Mekong River serves food like they do in Vietnam: simple, cheap, and good. Mekong River serves all the Vietnamese favourites, including pork spring rolls with caramelized pork, vermicelli, lettuce and carrots, and pho with a few different toppings. The atmosphere here is lively, and feels a bit like a typical pho joint in Vietnam.

4) Vietnamese: Pho Real （富民路店） View In Map

The Pho is so good at this little restaurant (which has a few different outlets) that there is a constant queue during peak hours. The best option here is the Pho, obviously, but they also serve some other dishes, all of which are super fresh and tasty. Especially good for a lunch with friends, and quick if you come at a time when there is no need to queue.

5) Malaysian: Awana （满金香） View In Map

This Malaysian fusion eatery has been popular for a while now, and still serves some great Malaysian cuisine; think bowls of laksa, dragon beans and chicken rice. The food here is reasonably priced, and they have set lunches for 368 RMB for 2-3 people, including pepper crab, Malaysian curries, pancakes, iced lemon tea and more depending on the set you choose.

6) Malaysian: Food Fusion （融合马来西亚餐厅） View In Map

Another Malaysian fusion restaurant, as Malaysian cooking has so many different influence it is barely not fusion, can be found in Parkson mall. This eatery is very nice, and the food is authentic. It is great for a quick bite, and the restaurant fills up quickly during the daily lunch and dinner rush.

7) Indonesian: Bali Laguna (巴厘岛)View In Map

Set in a beautiful and peaceful setting, Bali Laguna offers authentic and delicious Indonesian food. The starters range from prawns and fish cakes to satay skewers (58-75 RMB) and the mains start at 78 RMB; 580 RMB if you are up for an entire lobster.
