A Chongqing restaurant owner was out almost 400 RMB when a client ordered a ton of food online and subsequently disappeared. The owner called the police after not knowing what else to do.

Mr. Wu owned a fast food restaurant near the local university. At noon, on June 25, the restaurant received a large order online. A customer named Li ordered every dish in the restaurant (26 dishes total) and dozens of drinks. The entire order was worth nearly 400 RMB.

The restaurant readied the order by 1 pm and called Li. The restaurant was able to reach Li at first, but when the delivery person actually got to the designated location Li would not answer his phone. Mr. Wu went himself and knocked on the door of the address given and there was no answer. Mr. Wu felt like he had no other choice and called the police.

Police tried to call Li, but his phone had been turned off. A neighbor told police that no one had lived in the apartment for a month or two. Police recommended that Mr. Wu contact the take-out web service he uses in order to try to reduce his losses.

It's alright just re-heat the dishes and serve them to the next customer, Chinar style.
