Jiangsu Officials Plead for Forgiveness after Spending Public Funds on Banquet
Apr 23, 2013 By eChinacities.com

Stories of officials spending public funds on banquets, drinks, holidays (…or ladyboys) are never hard to come by in China, but it’s always a nice ending when they get caught, or, better still, when they end up grovelling for forgiveness in front of crowds of angry locals.

That’s exactly what happened to a group of officials in Taizhou, Jiangsu Province, with one photographed kneeling down and using a megaphone to beg for forgiveness after it became known that he and other officials were using public funds to pay for a fancy banquet in a local restaurant.

Locals stated that they spotted luxury cars driving in and out of the Binjiang Industrial Park, and later found that a group of officials were dining on expensive fish and high-end baijiu at a restaurant in the area. The photos have caused a storm online, particularly in light of recent government rulings on the banning of spending public funds of dining and entertainment. Local police have stated they will investigate the case.

Jesus gives forgiveness. Let the fat boy in the photo and all his partners in crime pay the price mandated by the PRC Central Government before Spring Festival for partying on the publics money. Nothing will change for the better in China until the government's leaders words are backed-up with strong action. Feed him and all those like him to the pigs they are.
