Every city in China has Yield to Pedestrian signs all over but have no meaning!! ask someone on the street what it means and they will tell you "they have no Idea" 5RMB is like 78cents USD.
Shenzhen, just this year, 2012, made it legal to not Yield to Pedistriens at Crosswalks and they are enforcing it !!
