This popular snack is served throughout much of Ningxia, and is often eaten in soup.

This is a type of fried chicken that has a distinct local flavor, thanks to the delicious spices used in Ningxia.

Eight-treasure rice (Babao Fan) 八宝饭
Popular all around Ningxia, it is always the last dish served at a banquet. It is a flavorful dish made with dates, walnuts, apples, sugar and lotus seeds.
