Shijiazhuang Zhengding International Airport (SJW)
Shijiazhuang Zhengding Airport is located approximately 32 km northeast of the city's center. The airport has over 43 flight routes, including those from Shijiazhuang to Harbin (2 hrs), Xi'an (1 hr 20 mins), Urumqi (4.5 hrs), Chongqing (2 hrs), Kunming (4 hrs), Guangzhou (3 hrs), Nanjing (1 hr 20 mins), Shanghai (1 hr 40 mins), Sanya (4 hrs) and other popular destinations. It also offers flights to Hong Kong, South Korea, Thailand and Russia.

The airport is easily reached by shuttle (20 RMB) and taxi (100 RMB). Depending on the type of airline ticket purchased, travelers can commute to the airport for free by specially provided buses. Travelers flying first class and business class are advised to check on this service and its availability. Otherwise, travelers are advised to use regular shuttle buses, which can be boarded at the Civil Aviation Administration of China office opposite the train station.

Established in 2006, the city Airport Hall (Jichang Houji Lou) offers an array of services including booking, ticket changes, ticket purchasing, hotel reservations, 48-hour advance boarding procedures, travel insurance, VIP lounge, travel information and of course, shuttle services. Shuttle service to the airport costs approximately 20 RMB.

Tips: The shuttle from the city to the airport does not run according to flights, and instead runs from 5:00-21:00, with buses available every 30 minutes.  The trip from the city to the airport usually takes around 50 minutes.  It is suggested that you arrive at the airport 90 minutes before your flight time.
