On December 18, a 20-something American woman on her way to see her boyfriend hired a taxi to take her from Hengshan Lu to the Xujia Lu area in Shanghai. During the journey, the woman noticed that what should have been a 25 RMB fare was already displaying as 38 RMB on the meter, and she proceeded to confront the driver about ripping her off. Later on, the woman asked the driver to stop in fron of a Starbucks in the Xujia Lu area, but was refused. At this time, she took her iPhone out of her purse to call her boyfriend for help, but the driver managed to steal her phone away from her. Afterward, the driver forcefully pulled her from the taxi and kicked her a few times and then drove off. Thankfully, another taxi pulled up and helped her report the incident, which is currently under investigation.

yes yes, if it could happen to chinese women they called for arms, why they not doing it for foreign? ""whats goes around comes around, take note on that"""this not good for foreign to live in country like this, this what create violence and hatred to another,they said: little thing is bigger thing on next day..u need to protect foreign, is your economically income in near future..taxi company u need to solve this issues, because it is not good to a good country like china, you know!
