“Happy Endings” Not Prostitution: Sentenced Salon Bosses Let Off by Court
Jun 26, 2013 By eChinacities.com

Police in Nanshan District, Foshan, uncovered a salon that was providing its clients sexual services (that can’t have been hard). However, the court ruled that as the salon was only offering a “happy ending” to its customers, which didn’t equate to prostitution, the three men in charged with the crime were let off.

This case goes way back to July 2011, when the Nanshan police seized several men who worked in a salon under suspicion of housing prostitutes. The investigation stated that there were many massage girls in the salon who provide sexual services to clients. The boss, a man surnamed Li, as well as two managerial staff were then taken into police custody for further investigation.

At the end of 2011, Li and the two others were sentenced to five years in prison for arranging prostitution. Upon being sentenced however, Li appealed and claimed that his actions didn’t constitute a crime. Li emphasized that the girls who worked at his salon were only providing “hand services”, and weren’t actually selling their bodies. According to law, prostitution accounts for an action that ends up with one party receiving profit from the sale of sex, and doesn’t include acts such as mutual masturbation during a massage.

At the beginning of 2012, a secondary investigation was undertook; however in light of the aforementioned revelations, the three men were acquitted.

What "classy" "fatherly" figures this courtroom invokes...."It's okay my little peach blossom...It's just a hand job...I paid for it...Just don't tell my wife!...No dear you're not a "prostitute" per se...How much do i owe you?...hehehe"....Weak disciplined men and women who have an impaired sense of security from them... Shenjingbing.

I think both the story and the picture are awesome, nice one. I love it when law courts argue over things like "does mutual masturbation constitute prostitution in that prostitution is defined as 'selling of the body'". Why am I never invited to these discussion groups?

I guess the guys are lucky that they didn't receive the death penalty which would have meant no chance of appeal!!! Would a BJ constitute the same as a hand job? Bill Clinton once said: I didn't have sex with her. According to Chinese law he's damn right!
