Factory Closed Down after Secret Footage Shows Workers Stomping on Noodles with Bare Feet
Jun 11, 2014 By eChinacities.com

In gross news, a Dongguan factory was closed down recently after secret footage emerged of factory workers walking around on top of noodles, meant for sale and consumption, with their bare feet.

The noodles in question were vermicelli rice noodles at the Dajiao Toncheng Rice Products Factory and employees were depicted dumping the noodles on the ground and walking around on top of them, with their bare feet.

One worker can also be seen peacefully slumbering, nestled into a pile of noodles on the floor.

The factory has been ordered to close and reassess its food production procedures. The Dajiao Tongcheng group has 15 vermicelli factories in Guangdong and their daily output is a staggering 800-1,200 tons, so chances are, at some point or other, you have consumed some of their delicious, delicious foot noodles. Hmmmm.

Terrible and unsafe work practices. They should have been wearing protective footwear or at least slippers.

One of the biggest problems in China is that many people are extremely apathetic and don't understand emotional or social logic. Some of the factory workers may be really nice people, which just don't understand what they do or why they are here. They probaly eat the 'foot noodles' themselves.
