Beijing to Endure Six Days of Continuous Bad Air Quality

Beijing to Endure Six Days of Continuous Bad Air Quality
Mar 24, 2014 By eChinacities.com

Perfectly timed with the beginning of a new week, the air quality in Beijing is set to take a turn for the worse and stay that way for the next six days. The Municipal Environmental Protection Monitoring Center has issued a warning, saying that six of the capital’s districts will face severe levels of pollution, with the rest being cloaked in moderate levels.

The PM2.5 levels will consistently be between 150-250 and citizens are being encouraged to take precautionary action by wearing masks and not exercising outdoors for prolonged periods. Hopefully we will see a clear weekend, or at least a clean ushering in of April.
