Only days after a New York Times journalist won the Pulitzer Prize for the article that cast Wen Jiabao’s family in a negative light, Chinese authorities have placed an official ban on Chinese journalists quoting or reporting from foreign media coverage.

“All kinds of media work units may not use any unauthorized news products provided by foreign media or foreign websites,” stated the General Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film, and Television.
