25 Chinese Universities Enter World’s Top 700 List

The 2013 QS World University Rankings were released on September 10. This year, 25 Chinese universities made in into the top 700 with Peking University ranking the highest out of the Chinese universities, followed by Tsinghua University and Fudan University.

The top three universities in the world this year are Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Harvard University and Cambridge University. The ten highest ranking universities in China are as follows:

1) Peking University (46)
2) Tsinghua University (48)
3) Fudan University (88)
4) Shanghai Jiaotong University (123)
5) Zhejiang University (165)
6) University of Science and Technology of China (174)
7) Nanjing University (175)
8) Beijing Normal University (252)
9) Nankai University (363)
10) Xi’an Jiaotong University (372)
