1 . How do I post a comment?
Posting a comment is easy! At the bottom of every article is a simple comment form you can fill out, which includes space for your name, email and the comment itself. There is no requirement to include the name and email; it’s up to you. If you do decide to input them, the name will be used in the comment itself. The purpose of the email is to update you from our end if we come across anything we think you would like, but don’t worry, it will not be published or made public. We treat matters of privacy very seriously and we will never pass your details on to others.
2 . How can I edit or delete my comment?
Our comment system is automated but to reduce spam and potential security risks, we don’t allow users to easily edit or delete their entries. If you do want to edit or delete a comment, send us an email with your revision to email@example.com and we’ll do it for you.
3 . Does it matter if I am logged in?
Our comment system runs independent of user profiles at the moment, so logging in makes no difference. This is why you can’t see a login link on the article pages
4 . I saw featured comments on some pages. How do they get featured?
Featured comments are those that are chosen by our team of editors. We usually select comments that are interesting, useful or can evoke further discussion.
5 . How can I post an article?
To do this, you should contact us directly. There is no automatic tool to post an article, since we like to get a chance to see them before they go live in order to gauge appropriateness and quality. Having said that, we do welcome all articles or pitches by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
