A woman from Jiangdezhen, Jiangxi tried to get a man arrested for raping her daughter, not realizing that he was in fact her secret boyfriend.
The woman, Wang, caught her 20 year old daughter Xiao Ling in bed with a man named Huang. Wang called the police and the young man was detained on the suspicion of rape. However, from Xiao Ling's demeanor police did not think she had been raped.
It turns out that Huang and Xiao Ling had slept together several times in the past. On the day in question, the two went out, sang KTV and then went home together. The next morning, Wang came in and saw the two in bed together and called the police, insisting that Huang had raped her daughter.
Xiao Ling and Huang both told police and Xiao Ling's mother that their relationship was voluntary.

The mother is friggin' scary. She had no reason to suspect rape, but just was willing to have the man in prison because she didn't approve. Thankfully, the daughter had enough decency to tell the police the truth... the really scary thing is she had been embarrassed by being caught, or didn't want her mom angry at her, she could have easily just said, "Yeah, he totally raped me", and he'd be facing prison.
