380,000 Foreign Students Studied in China Last Year, 9.8% on Chinese Government Scholarships

Last year, there were nearly 380,000 foreign students in China. 9.8% of foreign students those who studied in China were funded by a Chinese Government Scholarship. According to data from the Ministry of Education, there were 377, 054 foreign students enrolled in China's universities, research institutions and in other educational institutions in 2014. The largest numbers of foreign students hailed from South Korea, Thailand and the United States. Other countries with large numbers of foreign students included Russia, Japan, Indonesia and India. Most foreign students chose to study in universities in Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin and Jiangsu. The number of foreign master's and doctoral students has increased by 18% from 2013.

I find the hatred of China to be odd on this website. it is a website reserved for those of us whom live here right? why is it looked down upon to study in China? my University has U.S educated PhD's teaching the foreigners and I have learned a lot. I would welcome a reasnable debate on this issue.
