One of the men to fall victim to Xi’s war on corruption earlier this year is General Xu Caihou, the former vice chairman on China’s Central Military Commission. It is only just becoming clear how many bribes he was hoarding in his 21,500 square feet Beijing mansion.
Allegedly it took ten to 12 trucks to move everything: one ton of cash in three different currencies, jade, emeralds, calligraphy and paintings. Insiders have reported that the cash was boxed and conveniently labeled with the names of soldiers who had paid for their promotions, Foreign Policy reports.
Netizens have commented online, with only some reports being censored by the government watchdog, as this tale just adds to the pile of corruption successfully halted.

But then where does all this stuff go? To the people of China? Most likely to Xi or someone else's personal stash. How do you think Xi got his position? By being a really good leader and likable guy?
