Gaotai High School in Shaanxi’s Nanzheng county has gotten a lot of attention from the media after several students refused to have their chests and fat content measured as it made them feel awkward and uncomfortable.
The headmaster insists that they are only following provincial guidelines for school health checks, but this probably means nothing to the poor girls who don’t exactly relish the idea of being prodded and measured in the name of bureaucracy.
