A 24 year old girl, who goes by the online pseudonym ‘Strawberry King’, has set up an online ‘cell phone girlfriend’ service, and it has become quite the hit.
For 20 RMB per hour you can pay for text or WeChat conversations; phone conversations cost 30 RMB, and a 10 minute WeChat video conversation will set you back 30 RMB. Chatting services are available midday-midnight.
If customers try to turn the conversation in a sexual direction, request or send pornographic material, they will be blacklisted without a refund.
According to ‘Strawberry King’, her first day of opening she gained eight customers and is doing very well. The main customer base for the cell phone girlfriend is males between the ages of 20-30, and their main motivation is to relieve the pressure of work and school.
She didn’t state whether or not she charges extra for sajiao services.

I know we always complain about this websites lack of journalism but this time they have gone too far!!! I actually paid for this and turns out the picture in the title is a stock photo and not her at all!! So far my requests for a refund have gone ignored by both echinacities as well as the lass.
