A post seventies generation billionaire has paid over a million RMB to a matchmaking company in the hopes of finding a ‘pure and natural’ wife, prompting allegations that he is attempting to buy love. What exactly constitutes ‘pure’ and ‘natural’ wasn’t explained.
He says that he is looking to get married to appease his mother and also to settle down now that he’s successful with a steady career. After decades of being a workaholic he is hoping to devote more time to family.
He also mentioned that he would be happy to invest in his future wife’s career or hometown. ‘I just want to make my wife happy and help her realize her dreams; whether she wants to be a full time housewife or have her own career, I will support her.’
The man, surnamed Rong, doesn’t believe that what he is doing is an attempt to ‘buy love’, as online critics have said; he believes the money is just an investment in his future happiness.

I can explain the pure and natural part actually. Pure means she's a virgin, and natural..I think it might've been a mistranslation, I think it's more like "innocent"...

I think the pure part is virgin and innocent, and the natural is natural beauty, meaning no plastic surgery (possibly no tats and/or body piercings either). remember the chinese fella that sued his wife for having an ugly baby only to find out she had alot of plastic surgery on her face...making her attractive. makes the most sense to me...

Probably he's the typical rich Chinese guy who can't stop talking about his cars, his villas and his business when on a date. Being such a snob, of course he hasn't been able to attract a pure and natural girl.
