Netizens Mock Shanghai’s New “Boot Building”

After the completion of the interior decoration of Shanghai’s new luxury shopping center “L’Avenue,” the final stages of work have begun on the exterior design. Pictures of the building which has been nicknamed “the boot building” have gone viral on the internet. In an architectural escapade that is sure to rival Beijing’s infamous “underpants” CCTV building, it seems that Shanghai has gone for something slightly classier.
