Yiwu Taxi Fuel Surcharges Rise to 3 RMB
Mar 29, 2012 By eChinacities.com

If you've noticed that Yiwu's taxi drivers have been charging more than usual, the reason is most likely the fuel surcharge which was introduced late last month. The standard fuel surcharge has now risen to 3 RMB bringing it to the same level as Shenzhen's (prior to Shenzhen's March 22nd price adjustment which elevated prices to 4 RMB). All taxis in Yiwu must clearly display these new price adjustments. If customers encounter taxi drivers overcharging, they can call 96150 or 96520 to lodge a complaint.
