Yinchuan Nightlife

Yinchuan's bar scene is less developed than those of other cities, though this is not to say that there is no fun to be had at night. The Hui people love to sing. There are numerous places where they gather to do just this, often accompanied by dancers and musicians playing the kuoxian. Performances such as these can be found nightly at public squares or recreation halls. Additionally, organized performances are held on the 1st and 15th day s of the lunar month at the Haibao Pagoda. Visitors in search of an evening drink should head to Xinhua Jie or Hubin Jie.
