Xi’an Endures Three Days of Hazardous Pollution
Dec 23, 2013 By eChinacities.com

From December 16 to 18, Xi’an endured three days of hazardous pollution. On December 18 PM2.5 levels reached 500. This is Xi’an most serious haze since winter began.

Supermarkets have run out of masks, and a photo surfaced on the internet showing before and during pictures of the Wild Goose Pagoda where on the polluted days you could barely see it. Netizens have responded by congratulating it on a successful “launch”.
