Wuhan Travel Tips

Often referred to as one of China's "Three Furnaces", Wuhan gets very hot indeed in the summertime. Bring sun cream, a broad-brimmed hat and cotton clothing. Visitors should also make sure they have plenty of bottled water to hand.

Meanwhile, wintertime travelers are advised to bring plenty of clothing to keep warm, as the river winds can cause temperatures to plummet ten degrees below zero. Many hotels do not have central heating, so travelers are advised to bring a heavy overcoat, gloves and a scarf.
