The first World Internet Conference will be held between November 19 and 21 in China’s Wuzhen, in Zhejiang province. This is the biggest Internet meeting that has ever been held in China, and is also the first time that high-level speakers from all over the world are convening to discuss these topics.

At the conference, high-level speakers will discuss internet management and governance, mobile Internet, Internet and new media, as well as safety and security with about 13 discussions. There will be close to 1000 speakers from nearly 100 different countries, international organisation representatives, famous company directors, and specialists.

The aim is to have a platform to exchange ideas, to start cooperating, share knowledge, and aim for an international safe and strong Internet.

The website (www.wicwuzhen.cn) is already live, so the international press can go online and register.
