On the morning of May 27, Jiangxi Traffic Police halted a van with a Henan license plate for inspection. The van contained several large packages packed in foam. When first asked, the driver replied that he was transporting seafood. After further interrogation, he eventually admitted that he was actually transporting human placenta. The van was carrying eight boxes of it.
He explained that the placentas had been acquired from various hospitals around Jiangxi, and he had been packaged and shipped ready for sale in Henan province.
According to Chinese medicine, placenta has many beneficial health properties and is good for your blood and your qi. Many people in other parts of the world eat human placenta as it’s packed full of protein and apparently very good for you, but they usually don’t eat other peoples’.

A pharmatist friend of mine who worked in a mainland China hospital before she emigrated to Canada told me they (staff, nurses, doctors, ...the whole lot) ate them too. They picked the best ones i.e. from healthy mothers. These folks weren't stupid when it came to Chinese medicine, trail and errors over 5000 years had them discovered many 'weird formulae'. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is the most valuable cultural heritage their ancestors had left them with. Plenty of expats in China can testify the effectiveness of TCM. I always give credits where due. But this is NOT a credit present day mainland Chinese can claim themselves; the credit goes to the wise ones who lived among them thousands of years ago. Even western medical doctors, the ones who are humble enough to study TCM (certainly not the young ones who just graduated from medical school, 99% of whom are still thinking western medicine is the only god) can testify the wisdom behind TCM. I heard this comment from one of them when they were chatting with each other, "The only problem with TCM is that it is too perfect". The other nodded in agreement. Both doctors (western) studied TCM and were in their late 50s.

Attacking TCM which is something you obviously know nothing about, based upon your ignorant remark about TCM's treatment for cancer, is yet another proof of how poorly educated and immature you are. Your inability to comprehend English is phenomenal with your remark about 'Made in China'. If you don't know what a label means, ask someone from where you come from what a dictionary is.
