Good news for movie fans! Universal Studios is opening in Beijing in 2020.
The theme park will be opened in Beijing’s Tongzhou District where space is less of an issue, and is expected to cost a whopping total of 20 billion RMB. Some of the park’s elements will have Chinese influences, whereas the others will be based on the international movie industry like in other Universal Studios.
Who knows, maybe this will be Beijing’s first actually good theme park.
