Typhoon Rains to Hit South China, Hot Weather in North China

China has been experiencing an intense period of hot weather since July 20. More than 1,300 counties in 22 provinces have been affected by the heat wave, with temperatures over 35℃.

The fourth typhoon of the year, Typhoon Nepartak, will land in Guangdong tomorrow and bring strong wind and rain to South China. The typhoon will break the heat wave in South China. Xiamen, Fujian, Guangdong, and Shenzhen will experience strong rains until tomorrow morning.

When the typhoon hits South China, the high temperatures will move north. Inner Mongolia, northern Hebei, Tianjin, Liaoning, and Jilin will experience high temperatures until August 4. Many areas will experience historical highs and temperatures above 40℃.
