The players in what has been described as China’s biggest online gambling ring are now on trial. 66 people were involved and, between March 2008 and April 2013, it is estimated that around 484 billion RMB passed through their hands, collecting about 2.1 billion RMB in gambling funds and around 1.8 billion RMB in profits. This bust signifies the largest gambling operation stunted by police.
Trials are underway for participants.
