Temperatures across central and eastern China are set to drop as an approaching cold front is set to sweep across the mainland.

Northern regions including north-east Xinjiang, Northern Gansu, Inner Mongolia and regions around the Yangtze River will see the mercury drop by 4-8 degrees whilst temperatures in Dongbei are set to drop by up to 10 degrees.

Tibet, Yunnan, Sichuan, Guizhou and Inner Mongolia should expect heavy snow and sleet, while South China will experience rainfall.

Meanwhile, eastern Shaanxi, Henan, northern Anhui and northern Hubei will also be seeing blizzards and heavy snow.
