A new flight route from Taiyuan to Phuket Island in Thailand officially opened on November 27. Flights are currently scheduled for every six days, departing Taiyuan at 18:00, transferring in Bangkok at 22:20 and arriving in Phuket at 00:20. The return flight departs Phuket at 11:00, transfers in Bangkok at 12:00 and arrives in Taiyuan at 17:00 (all times are local). To book tickets, head over to www.ctrip.com or www.qunar.com.
