Kathrine Bergström Sweden a.k.a. Katie Goes to Tokyo will play in Nanjing on May 11. She has undergone many transformations in her career. Previously the lead singer of punk band Backfish, she also collaborated with indie rock band The Posie’s before forming the 60’s psychedelic inspired duo ‘The Wilson Hospital’. Now releasing her debut solo album her sound is more mellow, fresh and sweet with influences from the early Cardigans and Susan Vega, perfectly encapsulating the melancholy Swedish sound. She’ll be performing at the Castle Bar on May 11 so don’t miss out!
