Suspended Temple Added to List of World’s Most Dangerous Construction Projects

U.S.-based Time magazine recently named Shanxi's famous Suspended Temple to its list of the world's ten "most dangerous" construction projects. The temple was built 50 m off the ground, and is the world's oldest wooden structure building built on the side of a cliff.

Getting there: from Taiyuan, take a bus or train to Datong (大同), then from there take the minibus to Hunyuan County (浑源县). Once in Hunyuan County, take the tourist bus to Hengshan (恒山)
